Looks like it's time for them to regroup. Mr. Chames can probably give a little help with their next move, (maybe). VIKSON usually seems to know everything that's going on anyway...
In truth, it's likely somewhere in-between. Clearly it's not entirely improvised from scratch, since she's shown incredible ability to anticipate things. But it's clearly not all made up in advance, because that's just not her style.
I'm with ranger brian on this. She probably has a few goals in mind ahead of time, but HOW she reaches those goals is the part that gets made up on the fly.
